Kutztown University SBDC Entrepreneurial Spotlight: Judy Henry of Judy's on Cherry Judy's on Cherry is a Mediterranean-inspired fine dining restaurant located in a beautiful 150-year old market house with a hearth oven centerpiece. The mix of modern, yet traditional, food and the renovated historic building lends the restaurant a feel that one would expect to find in a big city. That ambiance, unique in Reading, has helped the restaurant to run for ten years. It is an accomplishment worth celebrating in what can be a particularly difficult industry. It has not always been an easy ride, which the proprietor, Judy Henry, readily admits. Despite some real challenges she describes her last decade as a wonderful adventure. Asked whether, with the benefit of foresight, she would have done anything differently, she simply says, "It's been great fun and I have no regrets."
